The malagueta, cherry tomatoes, watermelon, and strawberries prefer moist soil, but not soggy. Check with your finger in the soil: if it feels dry, water close to the ground with the equivalent of a coffee cup. In summer, more regular watering is needed. Remember that too much water at the bottom can harm the plant.

These fruits (except for watermelon) can be kept indoors in a spot with light and direct sunlight, but they can also be placed outdoors in a location with natural light, sun, and sheltered from the wind.
