The marigold can take 8 to 15 days to germinate and between 5 to 6 months to bloom.
The marigold is a short-lived perennial but is grown as an annual.
The marigold likes moist soil, but not soggy. Check with your finger in the soil: if it feels dry, water near the soil with the equivalent of a coffee cup. In summer, it requires more regular watering. Remember that the Grow cork has no drainage hole, and if it retains too much water at the bottom, it may harm the plant.
Our kits are designed for indoor use, in a location with light and direct sunlight, but they can be placed outdoors. It is not necessary to transfer to a pot; the Grow cork has enough space for the marigold to grow.
